I think this section should be co authored, as my family and friends know me better than I know myself. But seeing as how none of them have anything nice to say about me I will talk myself up the best I can.

I was born and raised in western Oklahoma. I spent some time living on both coasts and came back. Go figure. I live in sin with my boyfriend with our furry children and I like it that way. I am a rare breed in this neck of the woods….almost thirty, not married, and no children. Oh the horror!!!!!

So a few on my likes and dislikes……hmmmmm

Movies-When I have the attention span I like…..All the old classics, love musicals….but will never pass up an opportunity to catch Home for the Holidays, Steel Magnolias, My Fair Lady, Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, The Devil Wears Prada, Home Alone, All the Harry Potter movies. Anything that will make me laugh out loud…..On the other end of the spectrum I like dark macabre movies as well….vampires, ghosts, and that stuff is always a good pick for me. Oh and Japanese anime!!!

As far as television goes I have a few favorites but don’t seem to watch much anymore. Skins (BBC), Project Runway!, House, Biggest Loser (I always cry), really anything on Bravo can keep my attention. I am currently hooked on the Death Note anime series.

Jane Austen novels are all time favorite books. Really all the classics, basic summer reading. Herbology textbooks, crazy what you can do with plants….I like dark books as well, it’s a new found interest of mine.  Poppy Z. Brite is in my opinion a brilliant mind. Her writing reads like poetry!

If you need to know anything about me, it would be that my biggest hero was my brother, Glen. I can’t think of a more beautiful soul to have walked this earth. He was quite possibly the most charming person I (and I’m sure many others) have ever encountered.  He will always be my hero because he lived every day as if it were the last……He had a gift for making ANYTHING fun…..His heart was huge, He never met a stranger……He gave the best hugs……and talk about a shit eatin’ grin…..I miss him more every day.
